Looking at the vast distance I need to cover to reach Way Point 5 on time I decided to upgrade Tannhauser’s navigation system to include a Neutron Star Plotting package. Neutron Stars allow you to overdrive the FSD giving a 200% increase to jump range. There is always the danger that if you get too close to the actual star the gravitational forces will rip the ship apart before the flight computer can compensate… so care and attention are needed.
Found a Planet in a very close orbit to its star, that’s gotta be one hot potato.
A couple of nice Nebulae but all in all an uneventful session. Will continue on the Neutron Star highway tomorrow.
