Message from Fleet Comm. Mining Operations are complete ahead of schedule so Exploration command has released all exploration vessels to do their own thing while preparations are made to move on to waypoint 3. Headed out to explore random systems to try and find an elusive Earth-like, or maybe a Water World. Jumped out 120 odd LY then plotted a course back to Omega Station. Was looking like a total bust until I chanced upon Omega Sector RA-L A9-4 Which had five High metal Content planets, including one with both Geological and Biological readings… time to land and check it out. Biologicals was a huge field of Bark Mounds, nothing new. The Geological turned out to be Sulpher Dioxide Gas Vents, my first time encountering them. Also managed to collect some more materials including my first Tellurium. So not a completely wasted trip if not a high paying one.
