Location: Omega Sector IH-V C2 1B
Moved on to planet 5 in the system a very oddly shaped red planet, flat with a few impact craters but nothing special. Landed at the Biological site, more Bark Mounds. Went for a bit of an explore in the SRV and found my first Yttrium and some more Niobium for jump boosting.

Lifted off planet 5 and headed on to planet 6… made a steeper than usual approach… big mistake, got caught in the gravitational well and slammed into the ground hard. stripped away all shields and did serious damage to modules and hull… Ouch… sat in the ship cursing for a bit before heading out in the SRV to inspect the damage
